Advanced Classes

To enrol on our Advanced classes you will have either come though our beginner and intermediate classes or you will already know how to play all the major scales, all the modes of the majors, have at least 14 tunes that you can play from beginning to end and be able to improvise fairly confidently through most of them. You will be able to understand a chord chart and play through it.

Our aim is to take you from this level to the next level up, which is a semi professional or professional player.

What you will learn on our Advanced workshop:

• How to use diminished scales in your playing

• How to use Altered scales

• You will learn 5 more tunes

• How to develop your own distinctive sound on the sax

• Develop your band stand skills to a pro level

• How to get gigs

*By the end of the course you will know how to:

• Blast the hell out of diminished scales, licks and patterns.

• Use altered scales to give your playing real tension.

• Get the very best sound out of your sax.

• Conduct yourself musically and personally like a professional player that people will want to hire again and again.

• Get yourself paid gigs.

• Use your large repertoire of tunes to learn more tunes.

• You will also have an opportunity to play at a live public gig

Our intermediate course runs for 12 weeks with each session being around 90 minutes

Cost of this course is £348.
